Cryptic One – Crypstramentals Volume 9 – Lost Tracks 1993-98
Back in the early 90s I had the idea to do an instrumental album and I wanted it to be dark, cinematic, and moody. These tracks, were the start of that album. I wound up never completing ANY of these songs, because frankly my skill level and experience wasnt where it needed to be to pull it off how I had it in my head. So for years they sat unfinished on cassettes and old floppy discs.
Now Im releasing them all to you in their original unfinished form for the first time ever.

This is a collection of old instrumentals that I found on cassette that I did between the years of 1990-1994, the era I call “pre-atoms”. The majority of these beats went unused and this is the first time any of them have been released in any official capacity.
I did my best to clean these up during the remastering, but many of these tracks never received a proper mix, so I did the best I could with what I found on the cassettes.

Last October I decided that in order to motivate myself to stay creative, that I would make a beat every day and pair it with a short 15 second video and share it daily with my fans on my Instagram: @cryp_uno
I set a goal for 100 beats and was on my way. By the time I got to beat 93 I decided that in order to thank my fans for supporting me through the entire series, that I was going to release the last 10 beats of the project in album form as Crypstramentals Volume 7 and here it is.
